What do I do best?

My magical power is helping people live their dreams lives as entrepreneurs. As the SmallBizLady, my mission is to End Small Business Failure. Every article I write, interview I give and video I record is about helping people learn how to run and grow a successful small business. I have written over 5000 articles and two books on the subject Become Your Own Boss in 12 Months, Second edition, and my latest book Fix Your Business, in it I offer readers a 90 day turnaround plan to fix their business.

What makes me the best version of myself?

What makes me the best version of myself is that I am walking in my true calling. I believe there is an anointing on my life to help people with their businesses. It doesn’t feel like work to live out my mission everyday to end small business failure.

What are my aspirations?

I want to continue to enlarge my brand to reach and help more small business owners. It ‘s very lonely being a business owner and I want to continue to leverage social media and broadcast TV to be beacon of light and encouragement for entrepreneurs. I want them to know that I believe in them and that the world is waiting on them to build a better mouse trap.

My Biggest Success?

My biggest success is being a professional single mom. I have an amazing son, and as my life changed after my divorce I have successful maintained a balance for him where he didn’t feel loss only love from everyone. I am raising a well- adjusted little genius who already has goals, and knows what’s next for him even in middle school.

My Most Challenging Moment?

My most challenging moment in business was in 2005, when I was put on bed rest for six months when I was pregnant with my son. Unfortunately, I had built a business that couldn’t run without me. My business quickly became a sinking ship without a captain to direct all business and revenue generating activity. I had to completely reinvent my business and myself, but the beautiful thing about that was when I realized my calling to share all the business lessons I had learned with which led me to my calling to become ”SmallBizLady,” America’s #1 Small Business Expert.

My Motto?

Either you win or you learn, but you never lose in business.

My Favorite People/Role Models?

Oprah is my favorite business role model. I majored in journalism in college, and Oprah was the first journalist I ever saw start a business, which gave me the idea that  I could do it too.

My Favorite Places/Destinations?

My favorite place on earth is Paris, France. My favorite beach is Sea Isle City, NJ. Favorite place to relax is Martha’s Vineyard.

My Favorite Products/Objects?

My favorite tech tool is my Samsung S8+ smartphone, My favorite tool is my planning journal, I am a copious note take. I always must have something in my had to write with and take notes.

My Current Passions?

My current passion is my new book Fix Your Business. I wrote this book to help struggling entrepreneurs go from struggling to striving. I developed the 12 Ps of Running a Successful Business, which each chapter is based on (Preparation, Purpose, People, Profit, Processes, Productivity, Performance, Product, Presence, Prospects, Planning, and Perseverance). The book is a 90-Day Turnaround Plan to help business owners get back their life and reduce chaos in their business.
