Diáne Mandle: author, recording artist, Tibetan bowl practitioner & educator

My NativeAdVantage:

Diáne Mandle is an internationally known author, recording artist with Sounds True, Tibetan bowl practitioner and educator and the only state certified practitioner/ instructor in California.  Diáne has given over 250 educational concert programs in 32 states as well as in India, Costa Rica, Mexico and St. Croix. She has been a frequent guest presenter at the Museum of Making Music, Cal. State San Marcos, The Golden Door, The Deepak Chopra Center,  Rancho la Puerta and KPBS. She is  a featured expert in the upcoming video series: Tao- Living in Balance along with healers such as Dr. Wayne Dyer and John Gray. Diáne maintains a private sound healing practice in southern California where she also owns and operates the Tibetan Bowl Sound Healing School. She was part of the integrative therapy team at the San Diego Cancer Center and developed a successful sound healing program for incarcerated veterans with PDSD.

What do I do best?

My best quality is my ability to inspire people to manifest more of who they are and what they want in life. I love helping people to widen their perception of themselves so they feel empowered to grow into their potential. My work with the Tibetan bowls has been incredibly effective in working to this end.

What makes me the best version of myself?

Without a doubt it is courage. The courage to push through my self perceived limits without  knowing for sure what the outcome would be. I think it takes courage to allow oneself to be vulnerable and authentic no matter what.

What are my aspirations?

I think my personal and business aspirations are similar. To grow and develop my skills at being a compassionate human being, have fun doing it, and to do whatever I do from a place of authentic desire rather than from another person’s expectation of me. I also aspire to be better at being in present moment but also able to see myself as part of the bigger cosmic picture- all at the same time.  To give more voice to my creativity especially the domain of theater and art is a part of my growth.  I wish that my new sound healing book will reach many people and help them use these instruments as a training vehicle to work in an effective manner.

My Biggest Success?

Understanding that my entire life, all the little bits – traumatic and wonderful- every moment of it contributes to the person I am today feels like a huge success.

My Most Challenging Moment?

Traveling for 5 months alone in Africa to widen my perception of the world and learn to let go of expectations. Moving to California from the east coast with no set plan; not knowing anyone or what I would do when I got here. On a wing and a prayer. Birthing and raising my children alone.

My Motto?

From Arrien Angele, the Fourfold Ways: Show Up, Pay Attention, Speak Your Truth Without Shaming or Blaming. Let Go Of Outcome.

My Favorite People/Role Models?

Sarasvati, Nelson Mandela, the Dalai Llama my maternal grandmother, my life partner, Richard, my girlfriends..

My Favorite Places/Destinations?

Southern France, New Zealand, wherever the mountains meet the sea, Connemara in Ireland,  Lamu in Kenya, camping and hiking in lightly wooded areas near streams,  British Columbia.

My Favorite Products/Objects?

My bicycle, my hiking boots, my paints, my singing bowls and gong, my comfortable sweat clothes.,

My Current Passions?

I adore biking long distances over several days in new places and staying in little b&B’s or guest houses. I love making time to paint in my studio, I love spending time with girlfriends taking long walks or doing creative projects together- like taking a class, or having a paint day or going to a museum or movie. I love camping and hiking with Richard.
