Chantal Gatien: Empowerment Life Coach

My NativeAdVantage:

Bio:

My name is Chantal Gatien and am an Empowerment Life Coach who helps people get unstuck and live a life of fulfillment.  I guide people to fall in love with who they are authentically.  I have specialized with addictions for over 10 years and now my focus is everyday people who want to bring their lives from good to great!  My super power is helping people have the thriving and loving relationships they've been wanting and dreaming of.

What do I do best?

I’ve always been told that I have a way of making everyone feel included, welcomed and loved.  I love the underdog and I believe that everyone in this world deserves to feel special, even if its during a 30 second interaction with me.  A simple genuine smile, “hello” or “how’s your day going?” goes a long way.

What makes me the best version of myself?

Continuing to put myself first, NO MATTER WHAT!!  It’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life but if I don’t start the day off with me and making myself better – the hustle and bustle gets the best of me.  My morning and evening rituals help me step up my game in a really big way.  From there I’m able to show up the way that I’m meant to and in a way that’s in alignment with myself and what I want to share with the world!

What are my aspirations?

I want to continue to experience the world and everything it has to offer.  I love travelling to new destinations but getting in deep with the locals and really seeing how they live life.  I learn so much from that.  I want to hold retreats in some of the most beautiful and spiritual places in the world to help people accelerate their personal growth journey while experiencing the beauty around them.  I also want to open a wellness center where you can get everything you need in regard to your mental health and physical health –  a one-stop-shop!  Lastly, I want to share with as many people as I can what truly loving yourself feels like, because that has been one of the best feelings I’ve ever experienced in my life!

My Biggest Success?

My life as a whole.  I am my biggest success (cliché, I know).  I was a high school dropout at the age of 16 with a full-blown drug addiction.  I’ve been able to turn my life around, run a few businesses, put myself through school, have successful relationships and now I have my own thriving business which teaches people how to be the best version of themselves.

My Most Challenging Moment?

Making the decision to get clean and ask for help.  I’ve realized that I cannot do anything on my own.  It’s hard living a way of life where you feel like you’re dying on the inside and know that you are worth so much more, and that there is a better version of you inside, but you just don’t know how to harness it.

My Motto?

It’s a simple one – You’ll never regret the chances you took, you’ll regret the chances you didn’t take!

This reminds me on a daily basis to live big and without regrets.  I would prefer to try something and it not work out than to live a life “dreaming” about it.   I don’t want to wake up 40 years from now saying “I should have done that.”

My Favorite People/Role Models?

I need to put emphasis on my family here.  My parents who support me through everything and believe in me more than I think they should at times.  My mom, who is literally my best friend – it’s not normal the things we talk about.  My nieces and nephews who teach me so much about life and just how important it is not to give a shit and have fun.  My girlsquad that empowers me on a daily basis.  My boyfriend, who is the man I’ve been praying for – he is the reason I want to be a better person everyday!

Business related – Mastin Kipp is the guy who propelled my journey of self-love.  He’s an awesome dude and a wicked mentor.  I have met and connected with so many awesome people in my life because of him.  I could never put the amount of gratitude I have for him into words.

My Favorite Places/Destinations?

Bali, Indonesia has my HEART!  If you’ve been there, you know.  It’s hard to explain for those who haven’t but I’ll try my best.  The whole island just vibrates on a whole other level.  The way they look at life is beautiful, regardless of their situation.  No one is poor because they live off the land.

But I can find my happy place anywhere near water.  Let me sit and meditate while hearing the water hit the shore and I couldn’t be happier.

My Favorite Products/Objects?

I love incense – it brings me back to some of my happiest times.

Essential oils – I have an oil bible and these bad boys can help me with whatever it is I’m struggling with.

Kundalini music – that shit just gets me centered.

My journal – not only to get the nasty out of my head and off my heart but to celebrate life and my accomplishments.

Facetime – because I wouldn’t be able to feel as connected to my family.

My Current Passions?

My top 6 favourite things are: sunsets, sharing food, driving with the windows down and the music blaring, being by water, belly laughs, and spending quality time and snuggling with my man.
