Liana Werner-Gray: Global #1 Best selling Author & Founder, The Earth Diet

My NativeAdVantage:

Liana Werner-Gray is an advocate for natural healing using a healthy diet and lifestyle. After healing herself of many negative health conditions including a stage 1 tumor through embracing a natural lifestyle, Werner-Gray began lecturing and teaching about "The Earth Diet", internationally. Werner-Gray is the founder of "The Earth Diet", where she directs a team that helps people all over the world find recipes that work for them. Liana has written two books and appeared on television. Through her book, she has helped thousands of people to lose excess weight and to improve and, in some cases, even entirely heal, conditions such as cancer, diabetes, addictions, depression, acne, heart disease, obesity, and more.

What do I do best?

I remind people that they are amazing (we have enough negative views in the world) so I focus on the good traits in people, and that with God anything is possible. If someone has been suffering with a health issue I show them that it is possible to entirely heal it, or at the very least improve it by nourishing the body with nutrient rich natural foods and remedies. It gives people hope. I also don’t know anyone who can make a natural Chocolate Sauce, Chicken Nuggets, Cashew Ice Cream, Cheesecake and Chocolate Almond Butter Cups that tastes so good but also provides the body with high doses of nutrition, like I can – lol!

What makes me the best version of myself?

Being the healthiest person I can be in all aspects of life, mind, body and spirit.

What are my aspirations?

To continue to help people heal their body and mind using natures food and nutrition. To make sure people are focused on the abundance nature provides so they don’t have to eat processed foods, and also to keep hope that ANY and EVERY health issue/condition can be healed or at the very least improved by eating real foods.

My Biggest Success?

My biggest success, I would say to be consistent in getting back up again and again. I have had to work very hard to be where I am today, and I’ve had to break family cycles of addiction and depression. I am determined that no matter what happens to me in life I focus on the positives and the good parts. I think my attitude is my biggest success. Maintaining an unstoppable invictus spirit. Facing my biggest fears and shadows and looking at them head on and being able to still do actions accordingly to overcome them, rather than self medicate on drugs, food or alcohol.

Getting published by Hay House and becoming a global #1 best seller for "The Earth Diet" and "10-Minute Recipes" was a huge success for me.

And also in Gaining control and peace in my mind. I think our mind is the biggest battlefield. I still have a ways to go but I am at way more peace than I used to be. I refused to accept that I would have to stress and be worn out for my entire life so I changed my actions and made different choices.

Also when I look at my Instagram and see all the influential and famous people I've met I'm proud of myself, because I grew up with this "I'm not good enough complex" so for me to stand in a room with these people and just show up and be there, this is a success to me.

My Most Challenging Moment?

When I was addicted to junk food, and I had been binge eating on junk food for 5 years, and I was 21 and in hospital with stage 1 cancer, a tumor the size of a golf ball in my lymphatic system. I realized I had done it to myself, from my poor lifestyle choices, but I didn't feel in control and I was so addicted to sugar, and the vicious cycle of suffering and didn't know how to get out of it. That was my most challenging moment that ended up being the rock bottom point I needed to surrender and ended up transforming my life and body, and creating the career I have today which I love and am mind blown about!

My Motto?

A green juice every single day - no matter what. No exceptions, it's my non-negotiable. There is no other way for us to get high doses of nutrition into our body so quickly then a fresh vegetable juice with cucumber, celery, ginger, lemon and kale for example. It's science and common sense that our human body's need nutrition everyday to thrive so I take care of it with this.

My Favorite People/Role Models?

Louise Hay the woman who invented affirmations and showed it was possible to heal your life using your mind, and she started a company Hay House at 60 which is just epic and gives hope to all of us who may think "it's too late".

Princess Diana because she led with her heart even though she was immersed in a corporate mind driven world.

Wayne Dyer also helped me a lot and gave me so much support and confidence with my work, I'm so grateful for him.

Walt Disney for his creativity and imagination, Tony Robbins is a legend for sure, Dr Mark Hyman, Monica Rowsom I am blown away by this woman (a school teacher in NY) and Bob from Bob’s Red Mill.

And Jesus Christ – lol.

My Favorite Places/Destinations?

I love living in New York City, it's so vibrant with activity and Central Park is so magical and refreshing. I love visiting the Hamptons in the summer and also the Northfork - I actually just love Long Island and the people there.

Florida is one of my favorite places to visit - the beaches make me speechless, just absolutely perfect and beautiful. I'm so grateful Florida exists!

Australia of course is one of my favorites, my hometown Alice Springs is like nothing I've ever experienced anywhere else, and I also love visiting Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Byron Bay is also a magical place, the energy there is beautiful.

I've traveled to 17 countries so far and those are my favorite places so far!

My Favorite Products/Objects?

Since I am a major foodie, all my favorite products are food related – haha! I live for food, it's really my favorite thing about being a human is getting to eat and enjoy food! So I love the Vitamix to make some of my recipes like the Cashew Ice Cream bites which are just divine, creamy and delicious. I also love my own product, I have a Chocolate Almond Butter Cups and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. I love Phresh Products, their greens powder and PH strips for testing our alkaline acidity levels, I love Explore Cuisine (the World’s best gluten free pasta I swear!), Hilary’s plant based burgers, Nutiva’s coconut oil and new MCT oil, Redmond real Salt and bentonite clay. These natural versions of my favorite junk foods literally saved my life!

My Current Passions?

Eating. Haha always eating something nourishing and delicious. Right now I am waiting for my French fries to come out of the oven. I hand cut them from organic potatoes, with some onion rings, olive oil and real salt.

I also love traveling, I absolutely love people, and I am extremely active so enjoy sports for fun including snowboarding in the winter and wake boarding and wake surfing in the summer. Just fun sports that help put me in the moment and feel light and free.
