Jasmine Dañino: Yoga teacher & Owner, Radiantly Alive

My NativeAdVantage:

Radiantly Alive Yoga Studio in Ubud, Bali was founded in 2012. Five years later, the studio has enchanted the hearts of over 100,000 visitors. In late 2016, the studio came under the ownership of Rafael Corrochano and Jasmine Dañino. Captivated by the magic that is Radiantly Alive and Ubud, this husband and wife team are committed to continuing Radiantly Alive’s legacy of yoga, healing, and community, creating a home away from home for the thousands of people that visit every month.

What do I do best?

I think “what I do best” can be perceived or felt when I am sharing what I am most passionate about. First of all, teaching yoga. I like to spread and evoke a peaceful, grounding and loving energy in class. I find myself truly connected when I teach, and love sharing this with others. I am also passionate about connection. I love hanging out at Radiantly Alive and welcoming people to the studio, making them feel at home and part of our family. I also love just being at home with my husband. Spending time together – he brings out the best in me.

What makes me the best version of myself?

This is a great question! I used to be a person that was very comfortable with having certainty in life, never stepping out of my comfort zone and living in a very safe and “easy” space. When I found the courage to finally step out into the unknown, trust my intuition, and take the leap to discover what I was truly passionate about – magical things started to unfold in my life. When one follows the heart, follows their passion, one’s best version appears. Nothing is “forced” – you naturally become the best version of yourself – which, in fact, I would prefer to say is “the real version” of oneself; or, your “true self”.

What are my aspirations?

My goal in life is to INSPIRE as many people as possible. Inspire them to pursue their dreams and guide them into finding their truest self. Now, as I embark on the journey of motherhood, I also aspire to be the best mom and human being I can possibly be. To lead my family with love and through my example, share this love with others.

All these personal aspirations are linked, and have a ripple affect on my professional goals. Having the studio Radiantly Alive as an amazing platform, I wish to share and spread my love for yoga, reach as many people as I can, and support them in the best way possible on their life journey!

My Biggest Success?

A milestone in my life was when I quit my corporate job. I see this as one of my biggest successes because I was able to step out of my comfort zone, let go of my need for financial stability, let go of the stories I had in my head about what was “correct” or what was “expected from me” and take the leap into discovering what I was truly passionate for in life. It was scary, I was in complete uncertainty and it took me a few years to truly discover my passion and find my new path. It was a time of self-discovery that I will cherish forever. If it weren’t for this decision, I wouldn’t have found yoga or Radiantly Alive.

My Most Challenging Moment?

I think it would have to be when we moved to Bali. My husband was offered a job in Bali but when we arrived, all the legal regulations changed and he wasn’t able to work because they were not emitting work visas. We had 4 months of complete uncertainty, not knowing what would come next. I felt in my heart that our path was to be in Bali, but for some reason things at the time were not working out as planned. Our trust and surrender to the process gave us the strength to continue. This made way for incredible opportunities; opportunities that I wouldn’t even have dreamt of! We ended up buying Radiantly Alive. If it wasn’t for our courage to follow our intuition, we might have moved back to Peru and the story would have been very different.

My Motto?

“Trust your intuition and be guided by love”.  - Charles Eisenstein

My Favorite People/Role Models?

My husband. He has inspired me in so many ways. I wouldn’t be on this path if it wasn’t for his love, inspiration and trust.

My Favorite Places/Destinations?

I think I would have to say Bali & Peru. Bali is a magical island that has changed my life in so many ways... its definitely one of my favorite places in the world. And Peru – it’s where my roots are, where my family is based. So much diversity, tradition and culture – what cannot be loved about Peru?!

My Favorite Products/Objects?

A beautiful Rose Quartz I received as a present last year. This is my favorite object! I carry it with me everywhere. It represents the love my husband and me have for each other.

My Current Passions?

I am passionate about yoga, passionate about mindfulness and passionate about inspiring others to find their true path in life.
