What do I do best?

I am a fantastic story teller! I have been in love with stories (both telling and writing) my entire life and I have found a way to weave wisdom and magic into true life stories that inspire people in lots of good ways.

What makes me the best version of myself?

I have learned to hear the word NO in a positive way.  When someone or something says no to me, I take it to mean either No, not right now, or No it’s not in my best interest, or most of the time, No just means I haven’t found the right way to ask for what I need (yet!)

My motto is “everyone always says YES to me!”

What are my aspirations?

I don’t have much ambition any more but I do aspire to continue to lead a happy, healthy, fun, prosperous and exciting life with my beloved soulmate, Brian.

My Biggest Success?

It would be hard to just chose one but I would say that learning how to be happy, in spite of whatever circumstances are thrown my way is my greatest success.  As a child and young adult I suffered from severe depression and at times was suicidal.  At the age of 28 I decided that I was going to figure out how to be happy.  It required a lot of emotional work with therapists as well as exercise, eating right for my system, and creating my own “spiritual tool kit” of techniques to manage my emotions.  I am living proof that happiness is a learned behavior.

My Most Challenging Moment?

I went through a long period (more than a year) where I was heart broken, lost my core business, very ill and nearly broke.

I managed to survive and ultimately all of it led me to a new career, which created happiness, satisfaction, success, love and prosperity.  I see now that this devastation was necessary for my ultimate growth and in retrospect, I would not change a moment of it, in spite of the pain and suffering I went through.

My Motto?

It’s a both/and world.  Life is both the way you say it is and the way I say it is.

My Favorite People/Role Models?

Hands down my husband/soulmate is my favorite person in the Universe.  He is my best friend, partner, lover, safe place to land and the most fascinating person I have ever met.  He teaches me everyday how to be a more loving, kind and compassionate person.  I am also a huge fan of Warren Buffet and Barack and Michelle Obama.

My Favorite Places/Destinations?

I love to travel, especially to India.  I have seen many parts of it during my seven visits and I just love it.  I am also a devotee of Italy and try to go at least once a year.  And, then there is Bali.  All three of these places are heaven on earth for me.

My Favorite Products/Objects?

My cats, smart phone, iPad, computer, and I am crazy about reading books and coloring books!

My Current Passions?

I am passionate about helping people find love and keep love, long aromatherapy baths (at last one a day), foot rubs and food. I am teaching myself how to cook!
