Lauren Feldesman: Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, Town Residential

My NativeAdVantage:

Bio:

A seasoned professional with a dynamic background in entertainment, public relations, and the luxury hotel industry, Lauren Feldesman has extensive experience working with A-list talent, celebrities, and other high-profile clients. The skills and talents she developed in that line of work prove invaluable when representing New York City real estate clients. When it comes to solving problems, working gracefully under pressure, and navigating the twists and turns of a complex transaction, Lauren has proven herself to be right for the job over and over again.  With her solid work ethic, radiant positivity and charisma, Lauren is expertly equipped to guide her clients toward their goals and make sure every transaction is handled as seamlessly as possible.

Originally from Washington, DC, Lauren graduated from New York University magna cum laude with a BS in communications and a BA in politics. She is well versed in both Uptown and Downtown Manhattan as she has lived on the East Side of Manhattan for over ten years and is a Certified Neighborhood Expert in a variety of neighborhoods including the West Village, Greenwich Village as well as the Upper East Side. With her strong desire to give back, Lauren has been involved in volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. She is a fitness lover who stays active with yoga, Pilates, and spinning as well as running around the reservoir in Central Park. She is also a film and theater aficionado who greatly enjoys checking out new restaurants and keeping up to date on the latest happenings all over New York City.

What do you do best?

I do an extraordinary job of multitasking and wearing multiple hats –whichever is needed at the moment.  Broker, Tour Guide, Neighborhood Expert, Interior Designer, Therapist, Comedienne.  I am very good with reading people and understanding what they need because there is more that goes into it than simply buying or selling or renting your home; it’s an entire lifestyle adjustment which needs very personal and specific attention.  Communication and accessibility are absolutely key.  I always strive to be in constant communication with my clients to exceed their expectations and deliver the best possible service.

What makes you the best?

I have a huge heart and you will always catch me with a smile on my face, but I’m also fiercely competitive.  I love to educate myself constantly, acquire new skills, and stay ten steps ahead of the game in every possible way.  The combination of my compassion, integrity and competitive edge, is the broker you want in your corner.

What are your aspirations?

To keep learning and growing and enjoying life!  If I could be a role model or mentor, that would be incredibly rewarding for me as I love the to opportunity to give back and share my knowledge.

Biggest Success?

In real estate, it was landing my first client on my FIRST day working in the real estate business and then closing with him on a co-op.  There is nothing like putting together a board package my first week in the business!

Most Challenging Moment?

I live in New York City – every day is a challenge!  But the best things in life, are those where you have to overcome obstacles and work really hard at it, because in the end, there is nothing like victory.  Living in New York City for the last decade has presented many, many challenges, but I know I have an incredible work ethic and am a creative problem solver so when I meet a challenge the first thing I say is – bring it!

Favorite Motto?

“If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough.”

“Embrace your best self, let your hair down, live passionately, dig in and work hard.”

Favorite People?

My family, my boyfriend, and my incredibly diverse and interesting group of friends

Favorite Places?

Central Park, Champs-Élysées in Paris,  a beautiful beach somewhere exotic (Horseshoe Bay in Bermuda), a movie theater, my parents’ house in Washington, DC – no place like home!

Favorite Products?

Coconut Oil, Bvlgari Rose Perfume, any Clarins product, Amazon Prime, my Fitbit (it tracks your sleep!), & Godiva Chocolate

Current Passions?

How much time do you have?  My friends tell me that everything I do in life, I do with passion.  I have a real desire to live a very healthy and active life so fitness is a huge part of my daily routine.  I run 4-5 times a week and try to incorporate yoga, spinning, Pilates, and other specialty classes into my regime.  I also love to cook so looking up new recipes and testing out my Julia Child side is a lot of fun.  I’ve also been playing around with my Rosetta Stone trying to learn some new language skills which has been very useful as the real estate business allows you to meet a wide array of international clientele.  Perhaps my biggest passion in life is the arts.  I could spend days in a movie theater watching films and always love to see live theater.  I always try to make time in my week to see at least one film that has been on my to watch list and you’d be surprised because it definitely comes up in conversation!
