Love Coach Lynn

My NativeAdVantage: Love Coach Lynn

I was looking for a meaningful way to work with people and about 5 years ago I learned about coaching. I saw a huge need around love and relationships so I took training to become a Dating and Relationship coach. I live in Victoria, B.C., Canada and because I do all my coaching sessions over the phone I am available to anyone in the world.

What do you do best?

I work very successfully with singles who are looking for love - and couples who want to thrive in their relationship. In my coaching, I combine my own experience with the training I've received and other resources to provide customized sessions. I combine empathy, wisdom, humor and great listening skills to help my clients move forward. My clients feel heard, honored and appreciated and I celebrate their successes with them.

What makes you the best?

I think it's a combination of training and my own experience. I can identify with what my clients are dealing with. I have training and certification from The Relationship Coaching Institute which is well-respected in this field. I have worked been trained personally by Katherine Woodward Thomas to become a certified Calling in "the One" coach and I have studied Nonviolent Communication for over ten years. I read extensively and I'm on a path of improvement and self-development.

How will you stay the best?

I am currently expanding my services to includes couples' coaching which allow me to work with singles before they date, while they date, after they meet a potential partner and through a committed relationship and possibly marriage. Taking continuing education programs and continuing to do my own personal work will help me to stay the best.

What are your aspirations: business & personal?

My goal is to bring more love into the world! It breaks my heart to see the high rates of divorce and to hear from people how much pain they feel around love. My goal is to educate singles so they can make better decisions and find lasting love. It's also to help couples have healthier and happier relationships. My business and personal aspirations are closely linked because it is my greatest joy to make a positive difference in the world!

What fascinates you?

I am fascinated by what makes people tick. One of the systems that has helped me to understand this is the Enneagram. It's a way to understand what motivates people and how different personalities see the world differently. It has been immensely valuable in both my personal life and in working with my coaching clients.

Favorite Motto?

"The unexamined life is not worth living" attributed to Socrates. This is meaningful to me because I believe that to have a rich life we need awareness and to get out of the trance of living life unconsciously.

Favorite People?

Marshall Rosenberg, the founder of Nonviolent Communication has been very influential on how I relate to others.

Favorite Places?

I love Vancouver Island. To me, it's paradise! Years ago I traveled to Europe and enjoyed Basel Switzerland and Greece. I live in the Pacific Northwest and the contrast of the desert attracts me. I wouldn't want to live there, but it's a nice place to visit!

Favorite Products?

I love Lush products especially their Karma line!

Current Passions?

My passion is to do whatever I can to be a better human being. That means being more empathic, accepting, compassionate and loving toward others even though I may not understand them! Gary Chapman wrote a wonderful book called "Love as a Way of Life" and I try to live with more kindness, patience, forgiveness, courtesy, humility, generosity and honesty. I think that's a good blueprint for life!
