What do you do best?

I am best at pursuits that I love.  If I am passionate about what I do, I put everything into it and I fight for it to be the best standard I can achieve.

What makes you the best?

I think being the best, in a linear definition, is difficult to achieve.  You can’t be a jack of all trades because someone that specializes and focuses themselves will surpass you in a specific endeavour.  But you will surpass them in others.  I think you can be the best at your own path.  I don’t compare myself to others, it only weakens my focus.  But I take inspiration from other’s achievements and that motivates me to be the best I can be. I work hard, and I’m passionate about what I do.  I know what I do, I know my craft. I feel that if you are prepared and have confidence in your abilities, you can handle whatever comes your way.

How will you stay the best?

I think it takes our entire life to become the best we can be. Something I am trying to become more conscious of is to listen to myself.  I don’t stop if people tell me it’s good enough or if I do something that’s better than most. If it hasn’t reached the goal I believe it can, I will keep working for it until I feel satisfied that it was the best I could do.  I don’t like to compromise standards, I feel I would be cheating myself.

I also believe in being the change you want to see in the world. If something holds you back, or doesn't work for you, make your own opportunity.  I don’t wait around for someone else to make that happen for me.  Everything that we have done in our society was done by people or a person.  We’re all people. There’s no reason that you can’t achieve what you want as well.

What are your aspirations?

Personal: To balance my work, my passions and my personal life.  There are not enough hours in the day!

Business: To get to a place where I can balance my passions and my personal life.

What fascinates you?

Human integrity.  I think we all get challenged and have to make choices in all aspects of our lives.  We can make good choices that can be difficult or make easy choices that benefit us in the short term.  Those that choose to live by integrity despite all else make the world a better place.

What are Your Favorite:

Motto:

If not you then who, if not now then when?

People:

My parents; by their example I have learned to work passionately.  They provided a lot of opportunities for me to become who I am.  My brother, sister, and my friends. They are incredible, inspiring people, and make me the best I can aspire to be.

Places:

I love cultures and civilizations contemporary and ancient. Societies and their histories fascinate me, my favourite places to travel are countries with history that you can experience.

Products:

I have to say that I’m an Apple products person.  Having to balance both art and business, I juggle too many plates.  Apple technology literally made the business side of my life better by saving me tons of time in my day.

Current Passions:

I love what I do.  I love my work, my studio.  I love being an artist. I love teaching and sharing the things that I’m passionate about.
